Air Show Etiquette
To ensure the enjoyment of all our guests, we respectfully request that you read the following carefully:
Do’s
- Bring a lawn chair or blanket
- Come prepared for all kinds of weather
- Bring summer essentials; a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen
- Wear comfortable shoes and clothing
- Bring binoculars if you wish and a camera
- Earplugs! Remember to bring earplugs for the hearing protection of you and your kids.
- Expect traffic congestion upon arrival and departure. There are many events scheduled both before and after the show to help alleviate traffic flow problems. You may wish to take advantage of our free park and ride service.
- Stay alert once on the show sight and do not let your children wander to far. There may be vehicles, aircraft and equipment moving about.
Don’ts
- No parking on highway or in ditches as this may comprimise safety of the “Show Box” for performers. Free parking is available on site
- No pets allowed air side
- No tents or other structures
- Smoking will not be permitted on air side
- No Alcohol permitted onsite
- Recycle and garbage bins are located onsite, please do not litter! (Garbage may catch in the wind and impede safe operation of aircraft)
- As the spectator area is positioned airside, Airport security rules will apply
- Security will be present at entry points to the Airport, spectators will be subject to inspection of all carry in bags, backpacks, coolers etc.
Professional emergency medical people will be on the grounds throughout the air show. As you arrive, please make note of their location, and do not hesitate to call on their services. Should you feel unwell, seek the assistance of security or EMS personnel who will be working the crowd.
