Volunteers
Quite simply, without volunteers, and the valuable contributions of dedicated sponsors, an event of this magnitude would never happen. Planning and fund raising begins many months in advance, and is often carried out by a hand full of hearty, community minded folks.
The Peace River region is well known for its’ ability to “TEAM” up and bring to you many stellar events, such as this air show. Communities the size of Peace River rely heavily on the efforts of volunteers and sponsors, which are duly appreciated. The estimate of hours contributed before the air show even begins, is 5000. Then all stops are pulled as show day arrives, with over 100 wonderful people, of all ages and abilities, performing numerous duties during the Peace Regional Air Show, to make your visit here nothing but enjoyable and entertaining. A coupling of imaginations has taken place, and you will want to be there to see the results.
